From Valencia DO which is an appellation situated on Spain’s eastern (Iberian) coast. It's a region world-famous for oranges and Paella, but is also the home of Radio Boka wines. Their red is made solely from Spain’s noble red grape, Tempranillo, sourced from 25-50-year-old vines.
The combination of altitude and the warm Mediterranean climate gives this value-packed wine flavours of strawberry, blackberry and violets, with dusty vanillin oak and soft, fine tannins. Opaque dark purple-black colour with a bright dark purple hue. Lifted ripe black cherry and liqourice scents overlay subtle incense, earth and spice notes. Medium weight the palate has a soft fleshy mouthfeel dishing up juicy black cherry and liquorice flavours over some lightly scorched earth and spice. Velvet smooth tannins concluding with a savoury aftertaste of juicy black cherries, liquorice, subtle scorched earth and spice.
